Epiphany - on 31st March, 2006 I was walking down to my local suburban shopping centre; I had with me a cheap point-and-shoot camera given to me as a Christmas present, having given up serious photography many years before. I saw the shop signs against the blue sky and in a moment of realisation saw how unreal is the real, how incredible the ordinary. I came out of the 'shadow life' I had lived for 30 years. I felt myself as an artist.
